Nordic charm, culinary delight and a dash of sea air. Alongside our Düsseldorf branch, the Sansibar in Stuttgart is the second restaurant of the cult Sylt brand on the German mainland. The concept and culinary philosophy have been developed in cooperation with Swabian-born Herbert Seckler, the founder of Sansibar, and are adapted exclusively to the Breuninger environment. With popular island classics and regional specialities from Head Chef Götz Rothacker, Sansibar by Breuninger offers a relaxed atmosphere for savouring good food, every day of the week.

Restaurateur Andre Michael Greven has over 15 years of varied professional experience: After training as a restaurant specialist in Düsseldorf, he developed his skills as a bar chef, a restaurant manager, F&B manager and most recently as an operations manager. Among the places in which he has demonstrated his skills in the field of gastronomy are Sansibar by Breuninger and the Breuninger Confectionery in Düsseldorf.

This multi-award-winning chef is wholly familiar with the unique philosophy of Sansibar. Having formerly worked as a master chef in the high-class gastronomy sector, in 2013 he began to skilfully manage the kitchens of Sansibar by Breuninger in the Düsseldorf department store. Here in Stuttgart, he was once again able to impress his guests with Sansibar's popular 'classics' such as Sylt oysters in addition to his legendary Currywurst sausage and outstanding steaks and burgers.
