Fur Free Retailer Program
Since January 1st, 2021, Breuninger has been completely fur free as a member of the international Fur Free Retailer Program (FFR)!
The worldwide leading initiative identifies retailers that do not sell real fur, helping customers to find fashion that is guaranteed fur-free. All collections from approximately 1,000 brands were successfully updated at the start of 2021, and products containing or using real fur are no longer sold anywhere in the company. By doing this, we hope to encourage to more responsible and sustainable consumer behavior.
The multi-stage transformation process was completed in close coordination with the animal welfare organization VIER PFOTEN Deutschland, which is the official representative of the FFR program in Germany.
