Breuninger and Staatsgalerie Stuttgart present digital fashion show

Spring is upon us, bringing with it the trends for the new season. Despite all the current circumstances, fashion fans do not have to miss out on the live presentation of Breuninger's latest creations this year. The fashion and lifestyle company is staging a digital fashion show for the first time. The attractive venue for the virtual catwalk event is the Staatsgalerie Stuttgart.


Breuninger urges opening up of retail

A red light sign to indicate the tense situation: Breuninger is one of several well-known retail companies to have its Düsseldorf shop windows and distinctive Stuttgart dome illuminated in a striking colour. The action is taking place within the framework of the national initiative "Life in the Centre" and intends to draw attention to the challenging situation in the retail sector, which has been going on for months.


Breuninger hygiene standard

The comprehensive Breuninger hygiene standard has already been actively implemented in all department stores since the end of April 2020. Effective precautions were taken early on to ensure a safe shopping experience for all customers across the board. Measures such as regular cleaning and disinfection, wearing face masks and sufficient social distancing are just as much a part of the precautions as a traffic light system for regulating admittance, which limits the number of people in the sales areas at any given time, ensuring minimum distances. Employees are also trained and informed continually so that Breuninger services can be offered safely.


Breuninger-funded start-up autoRetouch wins prestigious Cloud Award

Good news from the USA: The Breuninger-funded start-up autoRetouch GmbH was named "most promising start-up of the year" at this year's Cloud Awards. Less than a year after it was founded, the young company convinced the expert jury with its innovative, AI-based image editing technology and successfully prevailed against an international field of applicants.
